So Why The UK?
The eminent Christian teacher 'Chuck Missler' of www.khouse.org in his study on the Book of Ruth, comments that
the famine mentioned in that same book was very likely a judgement from God on Israel because of it's spiritual
decline. He goes on to say that although he wouldn't build a doctrine around it, famine is alluded to as a
judgment in many places throughout the Bible.
I would 'lean' towards that view regarding the 'Credit Crunch' recalling the dream and God's words in my dream,
as well as reflecting on my unique
insight into the startling changes that I have seen over these past ten years. The wealth gained over this period of time,
rather than enhance the character of the residence of the UK appears to have debased us. The rush for gain the
unthankfulness, selfishness and pride that just about all classes have shown is a collective shame on
us all.
This class system is based on what a person 'has' and as a country, as well as our government, we are all guilty of "respecting" it.
Furthermore the government did nothing to help a 'Christmas Club' (setup for the poor to save sufficient money throughout the year to buy gifts for their children), While at the same time throwing hundreds of billions at an incompetant banking system based on greed. In addition it is interesting to note that no criminal investigation has been brought about to look into the banks fraudulaent affairs. If the head is rotten, then so will the body be also!
We respect the rich for no other reason than that they are rich, we promote sin at almost every opportunity.
The total decline of a people throughout history is often marked by the acceptance by that people of
homosexuality dragging with it out of the shadows other previously unacceptable sins into acceptability.
Not having television myself
I have been stunned while visiting relatives when I have witnessed what is now on British television, the decline
that has taken place since I used to watch television (it wasn't good then) is staggering. Proud, lewd, perverse
and anti-God are the only words I can think to use. It is a cesspit training the masses how to think and how
to behave, and many say Christians are brainwashed by reading and studying the Bible 2-6 hours a week but I know
many who open their minds to this filth 20 to 30 hours a week, who is being brainwashed and into what?.
We as a Nation have now reached our lowest ebb, so low that the stink of our Nation has reached
the nostrils of God. With our new found wealth we collectively and individually could have done so much. We
could have helped the sick, the lonely, broken hearted, the poor and the needy yet we preferred to purchase that
giant TV, go on yet another holiday, buy yet another car and joy in our new found wealth while others suffered
around us, the only way this is possible is by deliberately 'hardening one's heart'.
God says that the
canker or if you like 'the rust' of our wealth sitting there doing nothing for the needy stands as a witness against
us now and at the judgement.
Where are those things now? Money in the bank has devalued, items are broken or replaced and holidays are
nothing but a fading memory.
The opportunities we once had to bless and change lives are now gone. If anyone hasn't seen it yet they should.
The final moments of the movie
Schindler's List. The moment he realized what he had done and the values he had held, the lives he could have changed
and the people he could have saved if he hadn't of kept hold of worthless treasures but now it was too late.
Rather than fading memories, even today we could be witnessing the results of our labours in the knowledge that
the poor were still in their homes and satisfied, the sick were healed or comforted and the needy had their
needs met and that rather owning these 'things' which age and wear-out, that rather we were rich in relationships and the love and appreciation of countless new friends and family, this all stored-up in Heaven for us which neither ages, devalues nor can be stolen. Many look upon the poor as a burden but the righeous know very well
that they are nothing less than a golden opportunity.
Luke 14:14
And thou shall be blessed;
for they can not recompense thee:
for thou shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Fools we have been to trust in
wealth, this deceptive wealth that is about to be taken away.
