Freed from Homosexuality.
20th of October 2010
What an amazing testimony from a guy who was a captive of sin, the sin of homosexuality... for twenty seven years. How he differs from those so called ‘Christian Minister’ who are so desperate to continue their sin that they bend the Scriptures to their own destruction to hold on to it.
However, he made a daring choice, rather than hardening his heart to refuse the desperate cries of a dying conscience he turned to face it, and being convicted yet hopelessly overpowered called out to the only one who has conquered sin and death, Jesus the Christ.

No one suddenly becomes a full blown homosexual just as no one is suddenly hooked on hard porn or other deviant sexual activities. Far from it, but the first it crosses their path they are disgusted. Yet every choice a person makes carries consequences and when we chose the wrong we give bit by bit our god-given authority for our lives over to another, and once this cruel master has it he wont give it up.
More than Words.
9th of October 2010

A young girl receives flowers and praise from her lover,
Yet knows of his many affairs,
Oh how worthless his gifts to her eyes are,
How despised are his words to her ears.

Though he give many a gift and yet praise her,
And believes she is fooled by his wares,
Her heart will fly off to another,
As soon as true love shall appear.

For how precious the gift of the faithful,
How beautiful are his words to her ears,
As apples of gold they shine brightly,
In pitchers of silver they appear.

How vile then our praise to the Almighty,
How rotten shall our gifts then appear,
To Him who searches the heart daily,
To Him we should have learnt to adhere.

For feigning love to the King of the Heavens,
Our eyes betray that which we hold dear,
For seeking honour and glory before men,
The intent of our heart is made clear.
John 14:15
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

The Words of Jesus
What is Love Anyway?
5th October 2010

What is love anyway? Is love saying “I love you” and then flirting behind your spouses back at the office? Is love dressing for the attention of others and not for whom you call dear? How secure in your relationship would your spouse feel if they only knew the intent of your heart? Oh how we are deceived by the sickness of sin...who will say anything to secure our own interests and fulfil the desires of a blackened heart, a heart that can never be satisfied with the wares of this short life.

John 14:15
If you love me [Jesus], you will keep my commandments.
And we who call ourselves Christians, followers of Christ, do we also go whoring after the World selling ourselves for that which is considered worthless in the Kingdom of God...do we serve God or our own lusts when flirting with the spirit of this age? Dressing for our own glory we seek the admiration of Man rather than God. Who flirting with lust excuse the affection of our eyes when watching that which can only tempt us away from Him who saved us... gathering riches to ourselves would leave the poor carpenter from Nazareth sleeping in the street. Then who is it we wish to be honoured before...God or Man?

Galatians 1:10
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

How many I wonder would accept with joy the gift of flowers from a spouse that longed to be satisfied with another, whose eyes and mannerism betrays them when in the presence of their desire? Yes how vile and meaningless is the gift of the adulterer in heart who thinking they can deceive others only deceive themselves? Yet we who know the God that searches the heart, offer Him the sacrifices of prayer dare to think Him pleased...will not these be a stench in His nostrils?

Isaiah 1:14-15
14 - Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth; they are a trouble unto me; I am weary of bearing them.
15 - And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
But having done that which He has asked, [which is not grievous] won’t He with great joy delight in your gift of righteousness?
Proverbs 23:15-16
15 - My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad;
16 my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right.
Then with what joy will He receive the sacrifice of prayer and hear the petitions of the heart from those who through obedience and faithfulness display their love of God.
And so it is among men, for oh with what joy, with what delight and perfect peace will the spouse of the steadfast overflow with when receiving the beautiful and tender gift of love from a faithful heart. Where truth is seen and love is honoured, to what value will even the most humble gift be credited and to what honour of place will it be given! How priceless, how precious is such a gift to the beholder!

Jesus said to the Pharisees...

Luke 11:42
"But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue [to God] and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the rest.
To love God is to love our neighbour, to love justice, mercy and to walk humbly with our God... but feigning homage to Him We flirt with the World. Yet was it the World who knelt tremble in terror looking to the horrors of Calvary for us? Did the World allow itself to be beaten, stripped naked and nailed to a Cross to die naked and humiliated before all? Was it the World that entered Hades and cried out “My God my God why have you forsaken me”?

I write this considering my own heart...and I am, if honest not at all pleased with that which I see.
Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Love is so much more than just Words
Jesus didn’t just say He loved us
He proved it!
1 Corinthians 13
1 - If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 - If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 - If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 - It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 - Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 - It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 - Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 - For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 - but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

11 - When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12 - Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 - And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is... love.

How then can we serve God being so wretched and selfish? First we needs be born again not of the flesh but of a Holy Spirit, only then can we have the option of of being faithful in the inner most man, in the secret places of the heart. Next we must choose to walk in the power of a new life purchased for us by Christ at Calvary, and not the deadness of the flesh, a choice we have, and a choice we must now make.

Cuckoos in the Church.
1st of October 2010

Jumping around the New Testament, I found myself once again back in the Epistle of Jude, though barely taking-up one page...it’s a mind-blowing Epistle that lets us into some of the mysteries of the ancient World.

Jude was concerned that there were then, as there are today ungodly people creeping into the Church who seek positions of authority to promote their own ungodly agenda and not the will of God. We’re not talking about enquiring members of the public, but those who finding the Church accommodating seek opportunities to further their own interests and ‘feather’ their own nest.

If you can pull it off, being amongst generally generous, loving and caring people is not a bad place to be in such a unloving World and I’m sure that if you play your cards right, there is much to be gained by those who wish to exalt themselves into positions of trust and authority over the flock of Christ. They remind me of the Cuckoo, under the guise of their host they weary all to their own cause, eventually casting out all opposition from the nest they alone occupy the prominent position making slaves of their unwitting host.

Cuckoos make slaves of their host.
After having her own flock cast out of the nest the Wren struggles to satisfy the demands of the impostor.
It saddens and troubles me how the ‘Gay Lobby’ have managed to do just that within the Church of God, how they have used the institution of the Church to host their ungodly agenda, who gaining strength with their aggressive nature cast out all opposition from the nest. I have nothing against those who struggle with such tendencies, nothing at all but if they love Christ struggle with them they must, just as I too struggle ‘daily’ against my fallen nature and it’s perverse cravings...as do all who serve God. We are called to pick-up our Cross daily and deny ourselves whatever form The Fall has laid upon us, be that lust, pride or greed and however these may have manifest themselves in our lives. But these people, as those of Jude’s day have found a place, not to seek the power of God with which to overcome these base tendencies...no, far from it, but to promote them!

Jude reminds his readers of those unbelieving Israelites, though being part of the ‘Church in the wilderness’ and having escaped the slavery of Egypt they could not enter into the promised land because of unbelief...but perished in the wilderness (Hebrews 3:17). Therefore just because these ‘Cuckoos’ have gained positions of authority within the Church, they aught not to think they shall escape the wrath to come nor enter into His rest. But shall perish in Hell even as those disobedient angels who over-stepping their authority, used their high position to fulfil their own ungodly lusts rather obey God, this recorded for us in Genesis 6. (below)

For Jude goes on to recall two historical events to press home his point, the first of which took place when men first began to populate the Earth...

Gen 6:1-2
1 - And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 - That the sons of God [angels] saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

These sons of God were angels, I could go into great detail confirming such a statement but shall refrain unless requested (email me). From my limited studies it is ‘likely’ that these were of the ‘Watchers’, some of whom are mentioned in Daniel 4:17, the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees, a better term might be ‘The Guardians’. The responsibility of such ‘guardians’, as of all angels is revealed to us in Hebrews 1:13-14 where the argument for demoting Jesus to the level of an angel, is quickly dealt with.

Heb 1:13-14
13 - But to which of the angels said he [God] at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 - Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Yet these angels of Genesis 6 did something unthinkable, rather than looking out for those under their care, lusting after them they chose rather to abused them! For leaving their heavenly position and intent on fulfilling their own ungodly desires, they forsook their own principality and descended to ours marrying as they chose and having sexual relations with the women of Earth. Many refute such a claim quoting Matthew 22:30 (below), which confirms that angels never marry. However, studying the text more closely we soon discover that it is God’s angels ‘in Heaven’ that never marry. The angels we are concerned with left their Heavenly position, and in rebellion to God’s will did something that angel’s should never do, they married (sexual relations with other flesh).

Matt 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage [saved humans] , but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Luke 20:35-36
35 - But those who are considered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage,
36 - and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection.
That which is subject to death has the ability to pro-create but as angels can never die (Luke 20:36a - above) thus procreation, they are denied. That angels can enter our dimension yet still retain their heavenly position is made manifest when we read...

Heb 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Therefore, if angels that have retained their heavenly position can pass-off as humans, it is hardly surprising that those who have left their Heavenly positions for the purpose of sexual relations... if they should be able to carryout their ungodly desires. Because it is not ‘God’s will’ is hardly the point as it isn’t God’s will that men should lay with one another yet it happens, whose end is the very point of Jude’s message.

The result of this unholy union between Mankind and Angels was the Nephilim, a mighty half breed referred to as ‘The Mighty men of Old’, mentioned in many civilisations around the globe, such as the Titans of Greek mythology. Because of their wickedness and influence on mankind, physically (including mixing DNA) and morally, God sent forth the flood. Although the original Nephilim where destroyed in the flood, it is apparent that this unholy union has re-occurred once again, since their descendants are clearly seen throughout Biblical history (such as Goliath, his family and many of the tribes destroyed by Joshua). And it is highly possible that we shall see them openly again in our near future...albeit, on this occasion under a sinister guise to fit our supposed ‘enlightened’ age. I would go as far to suggest that as those Nephilim of old did as they pleased by force the Nephilim of today are ‘doing’ likewise right now... which is the subject of an article I am currently working on.

Jude’s point is this, that those ungodly men who had crept into the Church in his day (as they are doing in ours), can expect a similar end as those unholy angels, which we find recorded in Jude 6 and 2 Peter 2:4

Jude 6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

2 Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell (Tartarus), and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Tartarus in Greek mythology was spoken of as being as far under Hades as Hades is under the Earth. In other words, Peter was saying that a very special place had been assigned to those angels that had sinned...who remain there unto this day waiting for the judgement.
Jude presses home his point in the very next verse by mentioning a second event that took place in and around the two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in the following verse, of which again Peter also has somewhat to say.
Jude 7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 Peter 2:6
if he [God] condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
Jude is plainly informing his readers that those men of his day (as well as ours) who enter the Church to promote their own ungodly agenda’s can expect the very same treatment as those men of Sodom as well as the angels of Genesis 6. Jude 6 affirming that at death they can look forward to being held in chains of darkness (Hades for mankind and the Abyss for Angels) with Jude 7 speaking of their end, for both can anticipant being thrown into the Lake of Fire (Hell) after being judged at the great judgement.

It is noteworthy that apart from the other deviant sexual acts carried-out by the residence of Sodom, Gomorrha and the surrounding villages that the towns folk of Sodom were attempting to have sex with two unwilling angels, whom they had mistaken for men (homosexual rape intended). Yet we find the reverse in Genesis 6 where angels took any women they so chose for their own sexual gratification (the impression here is as was in Sodom ‘willingly or unwillingly’...it mattered not). Both then, were guilty of desiring and taking ‘strange flesh’, that which is against nature.

However, what I find even more fascinating is that we who are saved, ‘long to be clothed with’ the very same clothing that those angels of Genesis 6 cast off! For the very same Greek word ‘Oiketerion’ is used for both that which we long be clothed with as that which they discarded! This is confirmed when we compare the two following verses.

2 Corinthians 5:1-2
1 - For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [our body] were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 - For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house [NT:3613 - Oiketerion] which is from heaven:

Jude 6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation [NT:3613 - Oiketerion], he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
The above are the only two verses where the underlining Greek word ‘Oiketerion’ is used in the New Testament, therefore it is clear that we who are saved will be clothed with such heavenly garments that those disobedient angels cast off...when this our Earthly body fails. But those who neglect such a salvation will be left ashamed, found naked on that great day.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54
51 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 - So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
So we can conclude that we certainly shall be ‘like the Angels’ in Heaven who can not die (Luke 20:36). Nor shall we, unable to die be given in marriage [pro-creation] when we are relieved of this, our present body. Which only goes confirm that those angels who casting off such an heavenly cloak, abiding NOT in Heaven but on Earth did and were indeed able to go after that which was unfitting for them, even ‘strange flesh’.

Genesis 19:24
Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
