A group called I'll Be Honest just posted this on my Facebook Wall and I just had to share it.

I know these things yet still I often fall into my old ways of thinking thoughts such as... “I haven't done anything wrong for weeks so God must be pretty pleased with me, and if I keep this up and throw in a few ‘good works’ He'll be even more pleased with me.

The logic of this way of thinking says that if you do even better eventually you won't even need a savior, but you can save yourself! God save us from such stupidity, because even if it were possible and I never ever sinned again from this day onwards, I have already sinned for your Word says...

A few days ago I had to endure yet another report on homosexuals who were demanding equality in the Church. In this case a lesbian minister was arguing that since God had given her the ‘gift’ of being gay   He wouldn't then deny her the right to enjoy such a gift, surely God wouldn't be so cruel.
I could possibly understand why someone might make such an assertion being unlearned and knowing not God or His Word, but this lady was a minister of the Church! She who had put herself into a position of authority over others then uses this position to teach others to sin against the God she professes to serve.

If the following New Testament verses do not clearly reveal to you, the reader that God is not pleased with those who carry-out and promote (verse 32) the deviant sexual acts of homosexuality and lesbianism then I am at a loss as how to persuade you. I could however build a much more weightier case quoting numerous Scriptures from both the Old and the New Testaments. But the fact is that eventhough there are many within the Church today who know these Scriptures...most much better than myself, they have however chosen to twist, bend or ignore them to their own destruction. But in these last days we are told that such ‘apostate’ ministers will clearly be in high demand by compromising congregations... The truth is that there are those who know only too well what God commands regarding this subject yet their love for their sin is far greater than their love for God, and so eventually God gives them up and allows them to deceive themselves into believing a lie. Then others, longing for their sin to be made acceptable... both within and with-out the Church, rally too, coerce and encourage these to stand-up for them and force the Church into pronouncing that the God who has so clearly denounced such actions...has changed His mind and now takes pleasure in such deeds, yet we read... It was the unchanging Word of God that convicted me of sin, if I had hardened my heart to His Word, twisted or changed it's meaning I would still be in my sins today and thus, would be bound for eternal destruction which is certain for those who will stand before a mighty and righteous God with no covering for their sin. But unable to overcome the power of sin in my life and with my conscience condemning me I saw that I needed a savior whom I found only in Jesus. Having looked high and low leaving no stone unturned I discovered no other saviour who could take away my sin and clean my conscience of all guilt. Only in Jesus is there a basis for sin to be taken away, there is none to be found in Mohammed, Allah, New Age, Buddha or any other.
But these people having deceived themselves, carry-out their vile acts believing that they are free from all guilt before God, no more...that He is even pleased with them. They look for others to join them which is to them a sign of God's approval... but they know not that they are slaves to sin and unrighteousness whose end is destruction. Let us consider for a moment. In the beginning a Holy and pure God made everything perfect including Adam and Eve of which He said to them “go forth and multiply”... Now consider...having made everything perfect can we then say that it was a Holy God's intention for a Man to lay with another man and perform buggery? Can we say that having asked them to multiply that it was His will that the seed of a man should not only locate the egg of the women to bring forth a wonderful new life but to also die in the human excrement of another man? I think not...so what should we say then? Is it not rather that as well as murder, bestiality, lust, adultery, lying and every other grievous sin... that homosexuality and lesbianism also entered into the hearts of Men at the Fall of Mankind just as the Bible clearly teaches? Isn't that why Christ died for us...to destroy the works of the Devil? (1 John 3:8). I would say yes, homosexuality and lesbianism are simply part of the Fall that we find recorded in Genesis 3. It is worth mentioning here that it was only after the Fall of Mankind that a saviour was promised and not before, confirming once again that it was at the Fall that these vile affections entered into the hearts of Men and that they are clearly not a gift from God as the lady minister and others try to suggest. Although I do not struggle with the homosexual tendencies that came to many via the Fall, I do however struggle with many others tendencies having in times past hated, lied, coveted, lusted and more. Today I am in a battle but find power to overcome when choosing to walk in the provided might of the Holy Spirit. I have chosen to obey Christ and bring every thought captive, also being careful what I allow through my eyes as well as what proceeds out of my mouth. For if I should fill my days watching violent, sexual and perverse TV should I not then think upon these things? And if I should swear, gossip and mock others won't these things also corrupt me?

Referring back to the Lesbian Minister's quote that I began with, should I then say “Would God have given me the gift of lust for a women, knowing that I live alone then deny me the pleasures of pornography?” Should another say “because God has given me the gift of love and lust for my sister and daughter... would He then deny such pleasures if they are both willing?” How ridiculous...we must stop separating homosexuality and lesbianism from the effects of the Fall and recognize them for what they are, sin and not the will of a Holy and pure God. It is today, has always been and always will be a sin and those who carryout such acts will, unless they turn to Jesus... have no part in eternal life but will be thrown outside where they can no longer defile His creation.

It should be understood, there are millions of my Christian Brothers and Sisters in Churches all over the World who struggle with homosexuality and lesbianism, as well as every other type of sin that came to Mankind at the Fall. But what is their answer to these vile temptations? To obey them or to obey Him who has not only paid for sins past but who has also set us free from the slavery of sin? We having for the first time a choice to whom we will obey...even to obey God. And what have we to fear in obeying Him who truly loves and cares for us?

Although a Christian may at times stumble and fall into sin, if he loves God he will be broken hearted and turn once again to Him for forgiveness and through the faith given him in the blood of Christ... be cleansed from all unrighteousness and brought back into a loving relationship with God Almighty. For without blood there is no remission of sin as the penalty of sin is death, and that the death of a man who to us is Christ.

However, regarding the above ‘gay minister’ and those like her...a teacher of Christ's flock must be above reproach, an example for the flock to follow. How then can a minister of God lead their flock if they are known to be having incestial relationships, to be stealing, lying, a drunk or be actively in a homosexual or lesbian relationship? Knowing these things to be contrary to God's Word, how can such a person be allowed to continue to lead and teach others when they are openly defying the will of God?
If they as they profess love God and wish to see eternal life they should join with us in following Christ. But many may cry “but that means I shall be alone” you will have God and the power of the Holy Ghost will comfort you as He comforts me. Many are on their own for allsorts of reasons be that illness, disfigurement, location etc... Yet there are some that have corrupted themselves through sin who God can bring back and heal, others God has allowed a great burden to be laid upon them, through which will come the saving of their soul and not just theirs only but through the building of such a great character, many shall be brought to glory through them. If you suffer from either of the deviant sexual attractions of homosexuality and lesbianism or any of the other effects from the Fall then join us and fight the good fight. It won't be long now and we will enter into His promises. Jesus loves you as He loves me and died for you as He died for me. Or would you as many rather enjoy the pleasures of this short life to gain Hell. Remember Moses who could have chosen to live in the pleasures of Pharaoh's household but looked past these temporal temptations to the great, eternal and wonderful promises of God. Recognize these affections for what they are...sin, and take-up your Cross with me and fixing our eyes on Jesus the securer of our salvation let us though buffeted, mocked and abused suffer for a little while longer until that great day when He who has promised us gives us our crown of life. For we are all Christ's whatever form the Fall has laid upon us, we have all been purchased by His death. Who are they to judge another man's servant, especially when we are servants of Christ! 

And finally...some questions that really need to be asked:
1. Is the gay movement trying to force The Church to acknowledge to the World God's acceptance of their lifestyle?
2. Are some gays trying to force the Church to re-interpret Scripture to authenticate their lifestyles and thus ease their conscience?
