Well, since I did a blog on an apparent scriptural discrepancy last month... I thought ‘why not on another apparent discrepancy this month too’, one that bugged me for years. It can be found in the following text.

You don’t have to look too closely to see it, especially since I have highlighted the conflicting verses. The statement... ‘God will bring with him [from Heaven] those who have fallen asleep’ directly conflicts with...

1. And the dead in Christ will rise first of verse 16 and...
2. Will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, of 17

So how can God bring the souls of those who died trusting in Christ with Him and raise them up to be with Him when He returns to punish those on the Earth? Is the Word of God in error or is there something to be learned in this ‘apparent’ contradiction... you can guess what I think!

Recently I thought I'd do a video presentation on the ‘Olivet Discourse’, I don’t like the term... maybe it just bothers me that fancy names are given to scriptural events, which may cause some to doubt if it is within their ability to understand... but I guess we do have to have some terms to identify individual scriptural events.

‘The Olivet Discourse’ simply means ‘Something Jesus said whilst on the Mount of Olives’, recorded for us in Matthew 24-25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 [Not recorded in John] a mount that is a short distance outside the City walls of Jerusalem. But what I just have said isn’t strictly true , for not all that we would call the ‘Olivet Discourse’ took place on the Mount of Olives, confused, you should... I was.

I started studying this subject seriously about four to five years ago, finding myself buried under piles of notes, papers, files and books I soon realised that it was a subject that needed a much greater understanding of the Bible than I had acquired at that time, so I decided to put it all in a briefcase to keep it separate from everything else... [I’ve got dozens of these files hidden everywhere] Every now and again I stumble upon something relevant to that study, jump up... write a short note regarding what I have just understood and throwing it in the briefcase forget about it... that was until just recently.

There’s so much to understand in this study and the amount of text I would have to type out is more than I think most would read, so armed with my Macbook Pro I naively thought, ‘stand aside everyone while I just knock-out out this video’. Well after filming for sometime I realised that I wasn’t only recording my screen but also myself... scratching my nose and rubbing my eyes [New Software], not to mention looking less than presentable. Then there was the phone... everyone seemed to want to call me around then, people knocking on the door kids running up and down the street and finally, with wires from the mic and Enrol audio system wrapped around my head on the one side, and the power cable on the other... RAF Marham decided to send jets over my little pad every five minutes . After waving my arms about in total frustration, expressing my total dissatisfaction with God for not giving me peace and quiet I thought I deserved  I eventually calmed down.

However, I’ve learned allot through that experience, I realise just how much planning, organisation and thought was needed when taking on such a project, and although I have other demands on my time ‘God Willing’ I feel confident I will be making headway with that video shortly. I’ll feed it through Youtube to my site when it is finished. To be honest, I’ve not been so excited about a study for sometime, but then in many ways never had such opposition against doing it either, I think you may find it quite information and surprising.

With reference to my UFO study that I promised, mentioned in my blog Angels and Demons, I had just about finished it but felt and still feel that I should wait, call it God prompted or whatever you wish but I am waiting. There is something very wrong, as a friend I mine said “great deceit surrounding this topic”.

That the UFO phenomenon is real I have no doubt but am troubled by one aspect of it, I certainly do not believe we are being visited by another Race, a Race that has evolved over billions of years on another planet... though that is the erroneous conclusion of The ‘Theory’ of Evolution and thus, the very foundation most build this deceptive phenomenon on.

One thing that is becoming apparent is the spiritual aspect of the phenomenon, and the beliefs of those surrounding it, with many of the most highly respected researches within this field now unwittingly behaving more akin to the mystics of old, when they attempted to contact the dead. [Though deceived they were contacting deceiving spirits]. With their total distain of scripture these ufologists have no idea what they are doing nor who they are messing with, neither can they see their parallelism with the likes of spiritualism, mediums and channellers. Probably because they are being deceived by the very same entities as they.

Though I hold fast to the above, I do believe there is a physical phenomenon too, this is the reason I wish to publicise my views, for when this is witnessed by the masses, multitudes of Christians will, I think fall away believing Evolution to be true.

Anyway, ‘God willing’ at the right time I will uploaded it.

I have partly written a blog/article on Psalm 83 and think I’ve mentioned it before on my site. But with Egypt now tottering on the edge of falling into Islamic hands the stage could be set for it’s fulfilment.

Forgive me if repeating myself but it is a co-ordinated attack on Israel that many do not see fulfilled in history. Some say it was fulfilled during the time of the Maccabees, I would question that. With Syria’s intense hatred of Israel, Lebanon virtually controlled by Hezbollah, The West Back Fatah, Gaza Hamas and Egypt possibly soon falling into the hands of ‘The Muslim Brotherhood’ Israel will only have Jordan as a reasonably stable nation beside her. However, you can be sure that if and when they do carryout their co-ordinated attack, Jordan will play a big part in it.

Currently Egypt controls the Gaza border, but if the Muslim Brotherhood gain control allowing in weapons, obviously Israel will have to act... to date Egypt is the only Arab nation with a peace treaty with Israel, and he who signed that deal... the Muslims shot.
And people wonder why Israel is so quick to react if threatened... with Arabs within her borders, many of whom hate the Jews, and enemies all around one mistake, one wrong judgement could be her last, for as they have already testified many times... they wish for nothing less than Israel’s total destruction.

If it does take place, it will prepare the ‘scriptural’ foundations for the end. Psalm 83 they will win... but after that comes the end, as just as they finally feel safe... all hell breaks loose.
